Valdete Osmani finished her studies at the Faik Konica Journalism College in Prishtina. She has worked as a journalist since 2014, initially for daily newspapers and later as a news presenter at KTV and as a regular correspondent for Top Channel and RTK. She has been awarded for her work by UN bodies, the Association of Journalists of Kosovo and BIRN (Balkan Investigative Reporting Network). In 2016 she won the annual award for Best TV Report on the Diaspora, which is given by the Ministry of Diaspora. Valdete is a K2.0 Human Rights Journalism Fellowship program fellow (2019 cycle).
