K2.0 was founded by young journalists and storytellers who wanted to explore different ways of telling stories and deciding what’s newsworthy. Lacking the necessary platform and resources, we created K2.0.
That’s why, in 2018, we launched our Fellowship program — our way of opening up what we have built to new generations of media professionals passionate about unfettered journalism and driving positive change through their work.
This year, we are launching our fifth Fellowship cycle, seeking the next five promising voices in Kosovar human rights-centered journalism. Our 2024 fellows will receive intensive training, continuous mentorship and financial support to produce stories that are too important for them and for us not to tell. Through our program, we aim to support written and multimedia projects that will inspire our editors and make waves among the public once published in the Kosovo 2.0 magazine.
If you are a young or aspiring journalist or media professional skilled with words, an audio recorder and/or a camera, and if your mission is to contribute to improving media representation and diversity, this call is for you.
Check the guidelines below to see if you are eligible, understand the kind of stories we are looking for, learn how the Fellowship Program will unfold and discover more about the application process.
The deadline for applications is April 7, 2024.
