Since its inception, K2.0 has provided a platform for young voices and youth empowerment.
In collaboration with the Embassy of the Netherlands in Kosovo, our project “Skilled, Aware, Active — Digital Journalism for Youth Voices” aims to highlight the perspectives of Kosovar youth through digital multimedia journalism.
To achieve this goal, K2.0 is inviting interested parties to submit proposals for creating a series of short videos as part of this project.
About the video production

The series will comprise of between 4 and 8 short videos, the exact number of which will be determined through discussion with K2.0. Each video will range from 1 to 5 minutes in duration. These videos will form part of a multimedia digital zine aimed at highlighting youth perspectives on crucial contemporary societal issues. These topics include interethnic relations and understanding, sex and gender, and political participation.
The videos, produced together with youth involved by K2.0 in the co-creation of the zine and designed for easy dissemination across social media platforms, will be developed under the guidance of K2.0’s editorial team and integrated into the digital zine for publication. The selected video production expert(s) are required to maintain a similar dedication to engaging and mentoring young participants in co-crafting compelling, youth-centric and high-quality media content, specifically tailored for social media consumption.

Shooting will be conducted during a two-day workshop organized by K2.0 in Prishtina, where youth engaged in co-creating the zine will participate. As a result, successful applicants must be available for two days of on-site shooting and collaboration with the young participants. The exact shooting dates might change, depending on the evolving needs of K2.0 and the project’s youth participants. Successful applicants must commit to attending the workshop in its entirety within the time period of April to May 2024.
