New legitimacy for Abdixhiku, old dilemmas for LDK.

Deda believes that LDK, and indeed other parties in Kosovo, should not be centered around the leadership of a single individual.
According to Deda, LDK has the opportunity to use Prishtina to present an alternative model of governance to VV at the central level.
The coalitions between LDK and PDK were widely perceived as pragmatic and, at times, forced alliances, and many criticized them for involving deep political and ideological compromises.
“The LDK has effectively expelled Vjosa, and in doing so, they showed disrespect to their voters,” said Deda.

Overall, this data shows that LDK’s core base remains the older generation of the population.
