On Tuesday, Dec. 4, at 18:00, K2.0 hosts an open mic poetry night at our new space as a way to bring down the curtain on the “Handle With Care” exhibition.
After a couple of introductory poems that explore themes of gender equality, oppression and human trafficking read by women’s rights activists and poets Sibel Halimi and Elona Çuliq, we want to hand the floor over to you.
The arts have often been quiet in tackling social issues in Kosovo in recent years, a trend we hope to help curtail with this evening. We want to encourage more artistic expression on these topics, specifically through verse, while also breaking the silence over issues such as human trafficking in particular.
Please join us from 18:00 to listen, read and share.K
