AI is developing AI without human assistance.
Entry-level jobs in technology, finance, analytics and administration are taking the first hit, as advanced systems perform entire tasks without constant human supervision.
Instead of preparing students to compete with AI models in syntax, we should prepare them to understand how systems work, collaborate with these tools and be accountable for the results.
The acceleration of AI is expected to have its most immediate impact in the private sector, especially in services, where Kosovo has built an export-based model. But this model relies on two categories of jobs that AI is directly disrupting.
Democratic systems of governance are designed to react slowly, through debate, compromise and lengthy legislative processes.
