At Kosovo 2.0, we believe in the power of small, independent media to make a big difference — especially in times when information integrity is under constant threat. From filling coverage gaps to challenging mainstream narratives, these outlets are essential to building a diverse and democratic media landscape in Kosovo.
That’s why we’re launching this call for proposals as part of our new initiative, “Enhancing Information Integrity in the Digital and AI Era” — implemented within the “Support to the Civil Society in Kosovo” project, funded by the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and implemented by LuxDev.
We’re offering financial support and tailored mentoring to local media outlets that are committed to producing factual, independent, and community-focused journalism — especially in the face of digital disruption and the growing influence of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Whether you’re a registered media outlet or an NGO producing journalistic content working to counter misinformation — if you’re producing journalism that serves the public good, this opportunity is for you.
What we’re offering:
– Project-based grants of up to 5,000 EUR
– Editorial mentorship in innovative storytelling techniques and AI tools
– Training in project management and reporting
What we’re looking for:
We want to support initiatives that:
– Produce independent, high-quality journalistic content
– Actively counter misinformation and disinformation
– Engage meaningfully with their audiences
– Are seeking financial or strategic support to amplify their impact.
