Healthcare in limbo
What should the new government focus on?
|13.02.2026

Kosovo is the only country in the region that has not yet regulated organ transplantation.
The new government of Kosovo should make the functional implementation of health insurance its top priority.
The lack of a functional HIS not only slows down the delivery of medical care but also prevents the creation of a complete picture of the population’s health status.
