Kosovo 2.0 invites you to register to a workshop to develop your skills in creative writing and research, as part of the Lokomotiva 2.0 program, financed by the Prince Claus Fund.
The “Research Methods, Writing and Publication” workshop will be held on January 14-15, and is the first of several workshops on different topics that will be held throughout the duration of the project.
The workshop trains you to write for different purposes and enables you to pick from a multitude of topics and writing styles. Our trainers will help you refine your writing techniques and will exchange opinions with you, mentoring you throughout the two days.
In addition to learning about research, writing and publication, in one part of the workshop you will have the opportunity to write about a topic of your choice and will share your piece with the other participants. Then you will work with the trainers to refine and edit your writing. You will learn how to research from credible sources, how to find ideas, plan and write the first draft, review the content and quality of your writing, edit it to correct the grammar, and ultimately publish what you have written.
Over both days you will gain knowledge about the theoretical approach to research and data collection from credible sources, as well as how to transform your research into a publishable, written piece.
We invite young journalists, researchers, activists, and others interested in expressing themselves through written publications, to apply for this workshop that will be led by writer Ardiana Shala Prishtina and psychologist Adea Kondirolli.
Due to physical distancing measures, this workshop will be organized online, through Zoom. Translation into English and Serbian will be provided through Zoom interpretation channels.
