She is a human rights activist and has worked on a wide range of issues over the last 10 years concerning women’s, LGBTI, refugee, minority and children’s rights in Bulgaria. Svetla is a graduate from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and a 2018 Fulbright Scholar on advocacy campaigning practices and people mobilization.
