The SMS Facility Project – Support for Small Media in the Western Balkans announces a public call for applications for Support for Internal Development, Sustainability, and Digital Adaptation of small and local media in Kosovo.
The SMS Facility Project – Support for Small Media in the Western Balkans is implemented by a consortium consisting of six civil society and media support organizations: CPCD (Bosnia and Herzegovina) as the lead applicant, Thomson Media GmbH (Germany), Science and Innovation Center for Development (SCiDEV) from Albania, Kosovo 2.0 (Kosovo), Center for Civic Initiative (Montenegro), and Foundation Media & Democracy (North Macedonia). The project covers all six Western Balkan countries.
The objective of this call is to provide technical and structural support to enhance the organizational capacities and long-term sustainability of small and local media, enabling their digital adaptation and institutional independence.
Application deadline: 17 October 2025, 12:00 (CET).
Online information session: 16 September 2025, 13:00 (in English). This session will provide practical guidance on the preparation and submission of applications. Register at this link.
