We are seeking a Senior Project Manager who is committed to maintaining and overseeing existing projects, as well as identifying new funding opportunities to ensure the organization’s sustainability.

Position: Senior Project Manager
Hours: 40 hours per week
Location: Prishtina

Duties and Responsibilities:
– Writing project proposals and managing core projects of the organization, including interim and final reports, meeting deadlines and coordinating with the finance manager and managing editor;
– Developing correspondence and communicating with donors and partner organizations;
– Identifying new funding opportunities for the organization;
– Monitoring the implementation of multiple projects supporting K2.0’s operations, including handling K2.0’s grant-giving initiatives;
– Participating in organizational meetings, keeping track of project status and coordinating communication and work between the director, finance team and partner or funding organizations;
– Assisting the organization with regular and ad-hoc activities related to K2.0’s Hub platform for capacity building and citizen engagement, as well as the implementation of the organization’s strategy;
— Lead K2.0’s project team.
The ideal candidate for this position should be:
– Well-informed about current developments in journalism and media
– Organized and confident in managing people and with all aspects of project cycle management
– Able to work within deadlines and manage others to respect deadlines
– Self-motivated and willing to contribute to the organization’s growth
– A high-level professional while representing K2.0
Required skills and experience:
– At least three years of experience in project management and fundraising for NGOs
– Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a relevant field, such as journalism, international relations, or management
– Excellent communication skills
– Experience with Google Docs and Google Drive
– Languages: Excellent command of written and spoken English. While proficiency in the Albanian language is highly preferred, it is not strictly necessary.
