We are seeking a Video Editor to help expand our bold and captivating content in different multimedia formats.
The person we hire will work closely with our editorial team to deliver dynamic videos on social issues, human rights, culture, governance and justice issues. They will be able to creatively develop and deliver engaging content through short teasers, longer explainers, video features and other innovative formats.

Responsibilities:
- Work independently, as well as part of a team, to create and develop creative multimedia (audio/video) content for K2.0’s online magazine;
- Collaborate closely with the Production Manager and Video Team to help facilitate the creation of multimedia content;
- Plan video shoots, and scout, select and reserve shooting locations;
- Shooting video and audio in the field, and assisting with studio shoots;
- Editing footage and sound files, creating and inserting static and motion graphics, titling, adding music/voice-over, media management and archiving project media;
- Live-stream all K2.0 events;
- Record K2.0 events and programs, and prepare video material for publishing;
- Collect footage for K2.0 video production and archive;
- Assist with Kosovo 2.0 promotional events and ad hoc matters.
The ideal candidates for this role will be:
- Someone who possesses technical skills in video, audio and post-production;
- Able to work to deadlines;
- A dynamic, well-organized character with an ability to effectively prioritize a busy workload;
- Have an eye for detail;
- Be able to develop and deliver projects, including when working remotely;
- Able to tolerate stress and work efficiently even under pressure.
Required skills and experience:
- Experience in working with Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects and other Adobe Creative Cloud Apps;
- Experience in shooting high quality video (and audio preferable);
- Spoken language: High level of proficiency in Albanian required; high level of proficiency in English preferable;
- Excellent communicator;
- Although this area of work does not require formal qualifications, a degree in mass communications, production, media studies, information technology and audiovisual studies may increase your chances.
