Currently, Kosovo 2.0 is investigating the phenomenon of revenge porn –– an oppressive act, often against women. In an effort to highlight as many experiences as possible, K2.0 have prepared this questionnaire, which we invite you to complete.
The questionnaire contains questions that may bring back memories of traumatic experiences, please complete it if only you feel safe and comfortable to do so.
The data collected from the questionnaire will only be used for this research and will be published in an article by the middle of this year, as part of a grant for journalism and public engagement supported by BIRN.
K2.0 guarantees that each person who chooses to respond will remain completely anonymous, except in cases where the person voluntarily consents otherwise.
What is revenge pornography?
According to the European Institute for Gender Equality, “revenge porn” refers to the public distribution of private material (photos or videos) with sexual content, without the consent of the person to whom the material belongs. The distribution of revenge porn is done with the purpose of embarrassing and harassing the victim. Often, the distribution of revenge porn is accompanied by the victim’s personal information and causes damage to their reputation.
Revenge porn makes victims vulnerable to public opinion and exposes them to potential danger. The ability to share such content is often used as a tool to blackmail individuals for various purposes.
