Local election run-offs are set to take place in many municipalities around Kosovo on Sunday (Nov. 19), following first round contests last months. In 19 of Kosovo’s 37 municipalities, no candidate received at least 50 percent of votes in the Oct. 22 contest, meaning the two most popular candidates will now go head-to-head.
