Droughts, heat waves, burning forests, landslides and floods — once again became headlines in worldwide media.

In Europe, this summer was the hottest since temperature records began in 1880, or in the last 143 years. Several important rivers dried up and were at lower levels than the last 500 years. Record temperatures were recorded on all continents and a third of Pakistan was submerged by floods.

Now, more than ever, eyes are turned towards the climate crisis, which is one of the main causes of the intensity of this years events.
