K2.0 is committed to critical engagement and meaningful reflection on the past through the lens of slow journalism and longform narration. While mainstream media outlets may oversimplify or sensationalize stories relating to war or post-war contexts, K2.0 has maintained a focus on explanatory storytelling with an eye towards human rights, transitional justice, art and collective memory. This context makes us very excited to launch our call for pitches for our forthcoming project.
This project supports journalistic endeavors centered on themes of dealing with the past, memory and transitional justice. It will gather perspectives on these topics from Kosovo and the wider region, shedding light on untold stories and offering unique insights on issues already in the public eye.
If you are a journalist, a media professional, a researcher or a writer with a story to tell about the past, a narrative you want to interrogate, or an idea about reframing the past, this call is for you. To learn more about the call for pitches and get a broader picture of the project and the pieces we will support, check on the guidelines below.
