They want a boy

Pressure from family and society to have boys is pushing women towards selective abortions.

In Kosovo, 110 boys are born for every 100 girls, while the ‘natural’ ratio is 105 to 100. We talk to women, medical professionals, researchers and others who explain how the preference for boys is causing the phenomenon of selective abortion.K
